What is Subversion?
Subversion is a modern version control system, created with the intention of being a replacement to CVS. It supports the versioning of directories, versioning of copies and renames, atomic commits, merge tracking, and more.
How does OCS Solutions support Subversion?
All of our hosting accounts provide support for Subversion in two main ways:
- Hosting of repositories on your site (i.e.
svn.yourdomain.com/svn/repo), whererepois the name of your repositoriy. You can have as many Subversion repositories as you like. - Command-line access to the Subversion tools for creating and making use of Subversion repositories, both hosted with us and on other servers.
We also provide support for Trac and Unfuddle, allowing you to interactively view your repository and collaborate with team members and view the history of your revisions.
